Does the ESB 9.6W Grille reduce the woofer's output?

Not significantly. The CNC spiral lattice maximizes open area and avoids the obstruction, reflection, and resonance penalties associated with stamped mesh. It is engineered to meet the acoustic standard of the driver it protects.

Why is it ₹10,000 more than the 9.3M Grille?

The difference lies in scale and structure. A 6.5-inch span protected against shoe-level force requires substantially more machined material and deeper rib sections than a 3-inch midrange guard. This also results in a larger blank and longer machining time.

Is it needed behind a factory door panel?

No. An intact factory card already protects the cone. However, most Novemila builds use custom baffled panels that intentionally expose the driver. In any exposed installation, the grille is effectively mandatory.
