The AudioControl EPIC4000 is a competition-grade Class D monoblock amplifier, stable down to 1 ohm and rated at 1,000 W RMS at 4 ohm, 2,000 W RMS at 2 ohm and 4,000 W RMS at 1 ohm. It is built with oversized components and advanced thermal management for sustained high output.
- 12 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley variable low-pass (40 – 180 Hz) and subsonic (off to 50 Hz) filters
- EPIC Boost variable-frequency bass EQ: 30 – 80 Hz, 0 to +12 dB
- Epicenter Link harness included for The Epicenter bass restoration processor (sold separately), with 1 A fuse protection
- ACR-E remote level control included; smart auto-reset protection circuit
- Installation needs two 0-gauge power and two 0-gauge ground wires, each power wire fused at 200 A within 12 in of the battery
