The Audison C2O is a compact interface that converts a coaxial digital or analogue AUX signal into a TOSLINK optical digital output, for connecting Hi-Res players and smartphones to Audison processors with an optical input.
- Inputs: coaxial digital (75 ohm) and analogue AUX (3.5 mm jack, including 4-pole types); output: TOSLINK optical
- Up to 24-bit / 192 kHz from the coaxial input and 24-bit / 48 kHz from the analogue input
- Automatic input selection with priority to AUX; switches to coaxial after 6 seconds without an analogue signal (9 or 12 seconds via an internal switch)
- Isolation transformer on the coaxial input to minimise electromagnetic interference; analogue pre-amplifier with adjustable gain (0.1 – 2 V)
- Operates from 6 – 30 VDC, with classic remote turn-on and +12 V REM trigger support
