The Hertz MPX 165.3 is a 6.5-inch (165 mm) two-way coaxial speaker from the Hertz Mille Pro range, with its tweeter mounted concentrically in the woofer.
- Concentric tweeter gives one linear-phase emission point, for a natural timbre and a detailed sound stage
- Tetolon dome tweeter with neodymium magnet; Center Tuning Duct keeps the tweeter resonance low, and an acoustic lens improves off-axis response for door mounting
- 36 mm pure copper woofer voice coil on a polyamide former for power handling without compression
- Pressed-pulp cone with cotton fibres and Boundary Free rubber surround for efficiency and wider midbass response
- Oversized ferrite magnet with low-carbon iron plates to reduce distortion; low-profile aluminium alloy basket
- 100 W continuous / 200 W peak at 4 ohm; 92 dB sensitivity
