Recoil R3B-P Review: 3-Inch Two-Wheeler Speaker Kit With a 360 W Peak Bluetooth Amp

6 min read

The Recoil R3B-P is a complete Bluetooth audio kit for motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts and other 12 V vehicles: a pair of 3-inch speaker pods, a four-channel Class D amplifier with built-in Bluetooth and a waterproof wireless remote. Its only power figure is 360 W peak, which is not an RMS or continuous rating. The Indian MRP is ₹36,000. It is a handlebar-and-bracket kit, not a set of car door speakers, and several details that matter for wiring and fitting are unpublished. You can see it on our Recoil R3B-P product page.

Recoil R3B-P 3-inch two-wheeler Bluetooth speaker kit

Key takeaways

  • The 360 W is a peak figure for the amplifier. Recoil gives no RMS rating, so do not treat it as continuous power.

  • Our listing names motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts and other 12 V vehicles. It is not a car door speaker kit.

  • The remote is described as waterproof, but no IP rating is given for the amplifier or the kit.

  • Impedance, frequency response, sensitivity, dimensions, wire lengths, operating voltage range, fuse size and current draw are not published.

Figures come from Recoil's R3B-P page, Recoil USA's store page and our listing, all promotional. Recoil USA prints 360 W without the word peak; Recoil's own page and our listing say peak, so we follow them. The installation accessories are said to be included but are not itemised.

Why 360 W peak is not a loudness rating

A peak rating describes a short burst. It says nothing about the power the amplifier can deliver continuously, and Recoil gives no RMS figure. The pages also do not say how the 360 W divides between the four channels, and no power handling is published for the 3-inch speakers, so you cannot tell how hard the amplifier can drive them. Judge the kit by listening, not by the number.

The same applies when comparing products. Our Recoil PSB6 review covers a 21-inch bar listed at 200 W at 14.4 V. That is not labelled RMS either, so the two ratings say little about which kit is louder.

Mounting on bars and surfaces

The clamps are listed for round bars of 0.75 to 1.25 inches, and surface and post brackets are included. Recoil's page says a mount for the wireless remote suits a steering wheel or handlebars. Measure your bar first, since a different diameter needs a different mount. No pod dimensions or wire lengths are published, so check clearance for mirrors, levers and any fairing, and work out where the amplifier will sit and how far each lead has to run.

Power, fuse and battery

The kit is listed for 12 V vehicles, and the pages we read give no operating voltage range. Recoil's title names golf carts alongside 12 V vehicles, and many electric golf carts run a higher-voltage battery pack, so confirm the supply voltage with the maker or distributor before fitting one. Current draw and fuse size are not published either, so get both before wiring, and fuse the supply close to the battery. Also ask how the amplifier is switched on and whether it can drain the battery while the vehicle is parked.

Weather, dust and vibration

Our listing calls the remote waterproof, and Recoil's page calls the package a waterproof speaker audio package. It also describes the enclosures as UV-stable and the circuit board as conformal-coated for tough environments, and Recoil USA says the system is built to handle moisture, dust and vibration. No IP rating is given for the amplifier or the kit, so keep the amplifier out of direct spray and standing water, and fix every part so vibration cannot work it loose.

What owners and reviewers say about the Recoil R3B-P

When we checked in October 2026, the R3B-P pages on Recoil's site and Recoil USA's store showed no customer reviews, and neither did the page for the four-speaker R3B-Q. We found no independent review, forum thread or test report we could open, and some retailer and forum sites would not load for our research. So we cannot say how the kit holds up in use. If you have fitted one, leave a comment with your vehicle and how it coped with rain and rough roads.

Recoil R3B-P vs PSB6 and R3B-Q

The Recoil PSB6 is one 21-inch IPX6 bar with its own amplifier, clamps for 1.75 to 2 inch bars and an MRP of ₹70,000. The R3B-P is two separate pods plus an amplifier, clamps for 0.75 to 1.25 inch bars, no stated IP rating and an MRP of ₹36,000. Recoil also makes a four-speaker R3B-Q version, which we do not list. If you want more than two speakers, ask the maker whether pods can be added to the R3B-P.

Who should buy it, and who shouldn't

Buy the R3B-P if you want a ready-made Bluetooth system for a motorcycle, ATV or golf cart, your bar is within 0.75 to 1.25 inches, and you can confirm the supply voltage, current draw and fuse size before wiring.

Look elsewhere if you want speakers for a car (our guide to car speakers under ₹10,000 is a better start), need a full spec sheet, or want a stated IP rating for the amplifier. For a system built from separate parts, Recoil lists amplifiers such as the M1200.6 for powersports; see our Recoil M1200.6 review.

Installation notes for Indian riders and drivers

Heat, dust, monsoon rain and rough roads all work on exposed wiring, so use sealed, properly crimped or soldered joints, protect the leads from rubbing and keep the amplifier somewhere dry. Check polarity at each pod. Loud music reduces your awareness of traffic, so keep the volume where you can still hear it, and check your local rules on audio and modifications for your vehicle.

VA3 Car Studio in Ghaziabad offers professional installation. Tell the installer the vehicle, the bar diameter and where you want the amplifier before you start.

Price and where to buy

The Recoil R3B-P carries an MRP of ₹36,000 in our listing. VA3 Car Studio often sells below MRP, so check the current offer on the Recoil R3B-P product page. We list it as a genuine Recoil product. Recoil's warranty page gives a one-year limited warranty to the original purchaser and does not state India terms, so confirm them with the maker or distributor before you order.

The bottom line

The R3B-P is a ready-made two-pod Bluetooth kit with a waterproof remote, listed mounting hardware and a peak-only power figure. It suits a rider or driver who will confirm the wiring details and accept that the weather rating of the amplifier is unstated. Treat 360 W as a peak number and judge the sound by ear.

Recoil R3B-P FAQ

Is the 360 W in the Recoil R3B-P listing an RMS rating?

No. Recoil's own page labels 360 W as peak power for the four-channel amplifier and gives no RMS rating, so do not treat it as continuous power or compare it with RMS figures.

Is the Recoil R3B-P waterproof?

Our listing calls the remote waterproof and Recoil's page calls the package waterproof, but no IP rating is given for the amplifier or the kit. Keep the amplifier out of direct spray and standing water.

Is the Recoil R3B-P a car speaker kit?

No. It is a two-wheeler kit that the listing says suits motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts and other 12 V vehicles. It uses bar clamps and brackets, not door cutouts, so it does not replace car door speakers.

What bar size does the Recoil R3B-P fit?

The clamps are listed for round bars of 0.75 to 1.25 inches, and surface and post brackets are included. Measure your bar before ordering, because other diameters need different mounts.
