Focal Access 165 AC is a 2-way 165 mm coaxial pair designed for car audio. For a capable factory-speaker replacement where there is no suitable separate tweeter location. Consider it for rear fill, or front doors where fabrication must be minimal.
Key strengths and best application
165 mm DFS drivers with coaxially mounted aluminium inverted-dome tweeters. A 69.7 mm mounting-depth specification is not a guarantee of fit. Check the moving window glass, adapter thickness and clearance between coaxial tweeter and grille.
Fitment and system planning

Fitment and installation
165 mm Access coaxial: confirm tweeter projection and the factory speaker grille clearance, and avoid running an additional factory tweeter without evaluating overlap.

Manufacturer engineering parameters
Focal's Access 165 AC specification gives Fs 73.17 Hz, Vas 8.93 L, Qts 0.867, Qes 1.02, Qms 5.77, Xmax ±2.5 mm and Sd 136.85 cm². Its swivelling coaxial tweeter and integrated crossover distinguish it from the separately mounted 165 AS, even though both use the DFS woofer family.
