The Hertz ML 280.3 is a 35 mm (1.4-inch) Tetolon fibre dome tweeter from the Hertz Mille Legend range.
- Neodymium magnet optimised with FEA simulations for flux control and transient response, with a copper short-circuit ring for high-frequency extension
- Die-cast aluminium faceplate with an FEA-optimised profile
- Tetolon fibre dome optimised to reduce distortion and improve high-frequency dispersion
- Frame and rear chamber machined from a solid aluminium block; rear chamber sized for a 900 Hz resonance, for extended low-frequency response
- High-density damping under the dome and low-density absorbing material in the rear chamber; grilles included
- 180 W peak power handling (high-pass filtered at 1.8 kHz, 12 dB/octave); 92 dB sensitivity
