The StP Devil's Gold is a 3 mm self-adhesive, embossed vibration-damping sheet from StP's Prestige Technology line, fitted to the body metal as part of the car's noise insulation.
- Special additives in the mastic give a high mechanical loss factor, cancelling structural vibration passed to the body from the running engine and transmission
- Laid as the first layer on metal surfaces, it blocks air and moisture and protects the body against corrosion where it is fitted
- 100 µm foil; mass 4.6 kg/m²; mechanical loss factor 0.38 c.u.; fitted without heating
- 8 sheets of 750 x 470 mm per pack, covering 2.82 m²
- Operating temperature: -45 °C to +100 °C
- Application: wheel arches (exterior treatment), boot, floor
