Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1000 Review: 1000 W Monoblock, Sub Pairings and a Size Check
Updated: Oct 6
The Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1000 is a mono Class D subwoofer amplifier from the Machete MFA-1 range, rated at 1000 W RMS into 1 ohm, 710 W into 2 ohm and 430 W into 4 ohm at 14.4 V. Like its siblings it pairs a 152 mm-wide chassis with 24 dB/oct low-pass and subsonic filters. The Indian MRP is ₹31,990, which places it third of four MFA-1 models, below the MFA-1.1500. It's meant for one high-power subwoofer, or two moderate ones, in a car where the amplifier has to share space with luggage. Current pricing is on our Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1000 product page.

Quick summary
1000 W at 1 ohm sits comfortably under the 1200 W rating of Deaf Bonce's MF-12R and MF-15R subwoofers in their dual 2-ohm form.
Filters, bass boost, phase and the bass remote are shared with the rest of the MFA-1 series; the filters roll off at 24 dB/oct.
Official sources disagree on its length (about 192 mm or 221.4 mm), so measure before planning a tight mounting spot.
No owner reviews or independent tests turned up, and several cheaper Deaf Bonce monoblocks list similar or greater power.

Pairing it with one subwoofer or two
For a single driver, the obvious partners are the Machete MF-12R and its 15-inch sibling, the MF-15R, both rated at 1200 W RMS. In D2 form, with the coils paralleled to 1 ohm, they'd receive the amplifier's full 1000 W and still sit under their rating. The 800 W MF-12S works too, but buy the D4 version and wire it to 2 ohm, where the amplifier is rated at 710 W; at 1 ohm a D2 would be offered more than its 800 W rating.
Two subwoofers are the other route. A pair of dual 4-ohm drivers, each wired to 2 ohm and then paralleled, presents 1 ohm and splits the 1000 W between them. Two ML-12R D4s, rated at 500 W each, fit that pattern neatly. Whatever you choose, keep the final load at 1 ohm or above, the minimum Deaf Bonce allows.
Check the length before you plan the mounting
The MFA-1.1000 is the one model in the range where the official numbers conflict. Deaf Bonce's product page gives a length of 7.54 in, Alphard's official Russian store gives 191.4 mm and our listing 192 mm, all matching the MFA-1.800. The owner's manual's table, though, lists 221.4 mm, which would fit the pattern of each bigger model growing longer. The packed weight is also higher than the MFA-1.800's, 2.07 kg against 1.78 kg.
We can't tell from the documents which is right. If you're planning an under-seat or false-floor install with little room to spare, design for 221.4 mm, or ask us to measure a unit before you cut anything.
Controls and the factory head unit
The controls match the rest of the series: gain for 0.4–6 V inputs, the steep low-pass and subsonic filters, up to 12 dB of bass boost at 45 Hz, a 0/180° phase switch and a socket for the bass remote. The input is RCA only, so a factory touchscreen needs a converter such as the Deaf Bonce M6C or a processor with high-level inputs such as the M8-DSP.
What owners and reviewers say about the Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1000
When we checked in October 2026, there were no owner reviews, forum threads or independent tests of the MFA-1.1000 that we could find. The online store of Deaf Bonce's listed US dealer, alphardaudio.us, labels it a best seller and promises serious bass in a compact size, but that's promotional copy, and the page carries no customer reviews. Alphard's Russian store page has none either. Several big retailer and forum sites were unreachable for us.
So there's no independent verdict yet. If you've fitted an MFA-1.1000, we'd welcome a note on how it holds up through a Delhi summer and which subwoofers you run.
How it stacks up against cheaper Deaf Bonce monoblocks
The MLA-1000 (₹25,990 MRP) is rated at 990 W, 680 W and 400 W into 1, 2 and 4 ohm and costs ₹6,000 less, but it's a much bigger 350 × 216 × 50 mm box with 12 dB/oct filters. The MMA-1100.1D (₹26,990) is rated at 1100 W at 1 ohm and also publishes a 12 V figure of 1000 W at 1 ohm, which matters when voltage drops at idle; at 2 and 4 ohm it lists 650 W and 400 W, below the MFA-1.1000.
The Atom 1300.1 PRO (₹27,990) is the hardest to argue with: 1300 W, 780 W and 490 W in a 180 × 140 × 54 mm case, for ₹4,000 less. All three use 12 dB/oct filters. So the MFA-1.1000's case is its 24 dB/oct slopes, plus slightly higher 2-ohm and 4-ohm ratings than the MLA-1000 and MMA-1100.1D, not raw power per rupee.
Who should buy it, and who shouldn't
Consider it if you want steep, simple bass filtering on the amplifier itself, you're driving one 1200 W-class sub or two 500 W subs, and its footprint suits your install.
Look elsewhere if power for the money decides it (the Atom 1300.1 PRO lists more for less), you want a published 12 V rating (the MMA-1100.1D has one), or your factory head unit has no RCA outputs and you don't want to add a converter.
Installation notes for Indian cars
At up to 1000 W, wiring quality matters. The power terminal takes 4 AWG and the manual wants the fuse holder within 40 cm of the battery. Deaf Bonce gives no fuse value, so size it to protect your cable; our guide to amplifiers in car sound systems gives general background on amplifiers. Have the battery and alternator checked before you add a system of this size, especially if you drive with the AC on in traffic.
Mount it on a firm panel with air around it and out of the boot's hottest corners; the manual gives no temperature range. Keep the signal cables away from the power run. VA3 Car Studio in Ghaziabad offers professional installation, can measure the space for you and can build a custom subwoofer box to suit.
Price and where to buy
The Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1000 has an MRP of ₹31,990. We often sell below MRP, so see today's price on the MFA-1.1000 product page. Every unit we sell is genuine Deaf Bonce stock, and we're happy to measure one if the exact length matters for your car.

The bottom line
The MFA-1.1000 gives you 1000 W at 1 ohm and steep 24 dB/oct filtering, and it suits a 1200 W-class subwoofer or a pair of 500 W drivers. But it costs more than three Deaf Bonce alternatives that list similar or greater power at 1 ohm, there's no independent feedback yet, and its true length needs checking. Buy it for the filters; buy the Atom 1300.1 PRO for watts.
Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1000 FAQ
How long is the Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1000?
Deaf Bonce's product page gives 7.54 in, about 192 mm, but the owner's manual lists 221.4 mm, with the same 151.8 mm width and 54.7 mm height either way. Plan for 221.4 mm, or ask us to measure a unit, if space is tight.
What is the best subwoofer load for the MFA-1.1000?
For full power, 1 ohm: for example a dual 2-ohm sub with paralleled coils, or two dual 4-ohm subs each wired to 2 ohm and then paralleled. At 2 ohm it is rated at 710 W and at 4 ohm at 430 W.
Is the MFA-1.1000 rated at 12 V?
No 12 V figure is published. Deaf Bonce rates it at 14.4 V only, so expect lower output when the system voltage drops, such as at idle with the AC running.
