The Hertz ML 2500.3 is a 10-inch (250 mm) subwoofer from the Hertz Mille Legend range, designed for reference performance from reduced-volume sealed enclosures. It won the EISA Award 2016-2017.
- Large neodymium magnet optimised with FEA simulations for a stable magnetic field at high excursion, with low-carbon CNC-machined plates
- 100 mm CCAW voice coil with in/out winding on a TIL former, rated for 1400 W musical power with low temperature rise
- Aluminium shorting ring on the central pole to reduce distortion and extend the low-frequency response
- Exponential V-cone® mineral-injected paper cone with Boundary Free IIR rubber surround
- Six-spoke, self-standing anti-resonant aluminium basket with a CNC diamond-cut edge
- Optimised for sealed boxes of 17-25 litres; 700 W continuous / 1400 W peak, 88 dB
