Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1500 Review: 1500 W Machete Monoblock and What It Needs
Updated: Oct 6
The Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1500 is the largest Machete MFA-1 monoblock, rated at 1500 W RMS into 1 ohm, 1000 W into 2 ohm and 610 W into 4 ohm at 14.4 V. It uses the same 152 mm-wide, 55 mm-tall chassis and 24 dB/oct filters as the smaller MFA-1 models, stretched to 271.4 mm long. Its Indian MRP is ₹39,990, the top of the MFA-1 range. This is an amplifier for a big single subwoofer or a pair of serious ones, in a car whose electrical system you're prepared to upgrade. Check the current offer on our Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1500 product page.

The short version
1500 W at 1 ohm and 1000 W at 2 ohm, both at 14.4 V; no 12 V rating is published.
Its 610 W at 4 ohm is the highest 4-ohm rating among the Deaf Bonce monoblocks we compare below, shared with the Atom 2000.1 PRO.
Low-pass 50–250 Hz and subsonic 10–55 Hz at 24 dB/oct, bass boost up to 12 dB at 45 Hz, phase switch and a bass remote in the box.
No owner reviews or independent tests surfaced, and at the same MRP the Atom 2000.1 PRO lists more power at 1 and 2 ohm.

What 1500 W asks of an Indian car's electrics
At this power level the supporting electrical work matters as much as the amplifier. Deaf Bonce rates the MFA-1.1500 at 14.4 V, the voltage of a charging system working well, and publishes no current-draw figure. Driven hard at 1 ohm, a monoblock of this size can ask more of the charging system than a stock battery and alternator were chosen to supply, and when the voltage falls, so does output.
So budget for the supporting work. Have the alternator and battery checked, and consider upgrading the main charging and ground cables, the job installers call the Big 3, before adding the amplifier. The power terminal is sized for 4 AWG, the same as the 500 W model's, so that's the cable to plan around; our Tchernov 4 AWG power cable review covers one option. Short, heavy grounds to bare metal matter just as much.
Subwoofer loads that make sense
The full 1500 W arrives only at 1 ohm, and few single subwoofers want that much. Deaf Bonce's MF-15R and the 12-inch MF-12R are rated at 1200 W RMS; in their dual 4-ohm form wired to 2 ohm, they'd see up to 1000 W, inside their rating. Wire a D2 version to 1 ohm and the amplifier could offer more than the sub is rated for, so the gain would have to be set conservatively.
Two subwoofers suit it better at 1 ohm. A pair of 800 W MF-12S D4s, each wired to 2 ohm and then paralleled, presents 1 ohm and shares the 1500 W, which keeps each sub under its rating. Whatever the combination, don't go below the 1-ohm minimum.
Controls and inputs
The panel is identical to the smaller MFA-1 models: gain for 0.4–6 V, the 24 dB/oct low-pass and subsonic filters, 45 Hz bass boost, phase switch and remote socket, plus LEDs for power, protection and clipping. With this much power on tap, set the subsonic filter a few hertz below a ported box's tuning and keep bass boost low. The only input is RCA, so a factory head unit needs the Deaf Bonce M6C converter or a DSP with high-level inputs such as the M8-DSP.
What owners and reviewers say about the Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1500
We found no owner reviews, forum threads or independent power measurements of the MFA-1.1500 when we checked in October 2026. Deaf Bonce publishes specifications only, and the online store of its listed US dealer, alphardaudio.us, shows the model with no customer reviews. Several larger retailers and forums blocked our access, so we can't rule out feedback elsewhere.
The figures above are Deaf Bonce's claims, not test results. If you run an MFA-1.1500, especially in a car that sees long, hot traffic jams, we'd like to know how it behaves.
How it compares with Deaf Bonce's other big monoblocks
The MLA-1500 (₹29,990 MRP) is rated at 1480 W, 920 W and 540 W into 1, 2 and 4 ohm and lists a higher signal-to-noise ratio (at least 99 dB). It's ₹10,000 cheaper but much larger at 375 × 216 × 50 mm, with a 12 dB/oct low-pass of 40–180 Hz. The Atom 1600.1 PRO (₹32,990) lists 1600 W, 1010 W and 550 W, plus 1430 W at 12 V, in a 230 × 140 × 54 mm case for ₹7,000 less.
The Atom 2000.1 PRO shares the ₹39,990 MRP and is rated at 2000 W, 1280 W and 610 W, with 1810 W at 12 V, in a 270 × 140 × 54 mm case. It matches the MFA-1.1500 at 4 ohm and beats it at 1 and 2 ohm. Both Atom PRO models use 12 dB/oct filters, so the MFA-1.1500's case rests on its 24 dB/oct slopes; its 4-ohm figure only ties the Atom 2000.1 PRO's.
Who should buy it, and who shouldn't
It makes sense if you want steep, amplifier-based bass filtering, your subwoofer setup runs at 4 ohm, where its 610 W equals the best of the models above, and you're ready to invest in the electrical upgrades this power needs.
Choose something else if you'll run 1 ohm and want maximum watts for the money (the Atom PRO models list more), want a published 12 V rating, or can't upgrade the car's wiring and charging system.
Installation notes for Indian cars
Put the fuse holder within 40 cm of the battery, as the manual asks, and size the fuse to protect the cable since Deaf Bonce gives no rating. At 271.4 mm long, it's more likely to suit a boot side wall or seat back than an under-seat space, but measure your car. Give it airflow; the manual gives no temperature range, and boots in north Indian summers get very hot. Our guide to amplifiers covers the basics, and VA3 Car Studio in Ghaziabad offers professional installation, including the wiring upgrades, and can build a custom subwoofer box to suit.
Price and where to buy
The Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1500 has an MRP of ₹39,990. We often sell below MRP, so check today's price on the MFA-1.1500 product page, and talk to us about the cable and charging work before you order. Every amplifier we sell is genuine Deaf Bonce stock.

The bottom line
The MFA-1.1500 brings the MFA-1 range's steep filters and simple controls to 1500 W at 1 ohm, with a 4-ohm rating that equals the best among the Deaf Bonce monoblocks compared here. It isn't the most powerful choice for its MRP, there's no independent feedback yet, and it needs real investment in the car's electrics. Buy it if steep filtering matters more to you than the biggest 1-ohm number.
Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1500 FAQ
Does the Deaf Bonce MFA-1.1500 need electrical upgrades?
Plan for them. Deaf Bonce publishes no current draw and rates the amplifier at 14.4 V only. Have the battery and alternator checked, and consider upgrading the main charging and ground cables before fitting a 1500 W amplifier.
Which subwoofers suit the MFA-1.1500?
One 1200 W sub such as the MF-15R or MF-12R in dual 4-ohm form wired to 2 ohm, where the amplifier is rated at 1000 W, or two 800 W MF-12S D4 subwoofers wired together to 1 ohm to share the full 1500 W.
How does the MFA-1.1500 compare with the Atom 2000.1 PRO?
They share the same MRP. The Atom 2000.1 PRO lists more power at 1 and 2 ohm and the same 610 W at 4 ohm, while the MFA-1.1500 has steeper 24 dB/oct filters against the Atom's 12 dB/oct.
