AudioControl EPICPRO4T Review: Specifications, Fitment and Comparisons
Quick summary: the buying decision
The EPICPRO4T is a pair of 4-inch bullet pro tweeters, rated at 80 W RMS / 120 W max at 4 ohm, covering 2,000 Hz – 20 kHz. It must be fed through a high-pass filter, and where you place and aim it has a bigger effect on the stereo image than almost any other choice in the system.
AudioControl EPICPRO4T: what it is
The AudioControl EPICPRO4T is a pair of 4-inch EPIC Pro bullet tweeters rated at 80 W RMS (120 W max) and 4 ohm, with 108 dB sensitivity (2.83 V / 1 m) for loud, far-projecting highs.
AudioControl's EPIC Pro speakers are pro-audio-style, high-efficiency drivers built for loud, far-projecting sound with low distortion at high volume. They are voiced to pair with AudioControl EPIC Series amplifiers and suit SQL and SPL builds where output matters.

Fitment: will it fit your car?
Measure the factory opening and the depth available behind it, including clearance to the window glass and its channel at full travel. The EPICPRO4T needs 42 mm (1.65 in) of mounting depth and a 71 mm (2.79 in) cut-out. Small drivers are usually mounted in the dash, A-pillars or custom pods; a rigid, sealed mounting keeps them clean at volume.
Crossover, filtering and placement
They cover 2,000 Hz to 20 kHz and must be high-passed; with 108 dB sensitivity (2.83 V / 1 m) they will easily out-play most midranges, so set levels with care.
A-pillar or dash mounting usually gives the best stereo image; aim towards the opposite seat as a starting point and adjust by listening and measurement.
Amplification
At 80 W RMS (120 W max) and 108 dB sensitivity (2.83 V / 1 m), they need very little power; a high-passed channel of a 4-channel amplifier such as AudioControl's EPICFOUR, with the gain set carefully, is plenty.

Price and value in India
At the time of writing (October 2026), VA3 Car Studio lists the EPICPRO4T at ₹5,940, 15% below the MRP of ₹6,990. Budget for mounting work and filtering, which decide how well tweeters integrate with the rest of the system. Prices can change, so the product page always shows the current price.
Verdict: who should shortlist the EPICPRO4T
The EPICPRO4T is an inexpensive way to add very loud, far-projecting treble to a pro-audio build; it is not a subtle hi-fi tweeter.
