AudioControl EPICPRO6CX Review: Specifications, Fitment and Comparisons
Quick summary: the buying decision
The EPICPRO6CX is a pair of 6.5-inch proaxial (pro coaxial) speakers rated at 200 W RMS / 300 W max and 4 ohm. A coaxial puts the tweeter on the woofer's axis, so it fits a factory opening and is the simplest upgrade over stock speakers; check the 75.3 mm (2.96 in) mounting depth and 147 mm (5.78 in) cut-out against your doors before ordering.
AudioControl EPICPRO6CX: what it is
The AudioControl EPICPRO6CX is a pair of 6.5-inch EPIC Proaxial coaxial speakers that combine a high-efficiency midrange driver with a compact titanium bullet tweeter, rated at 200 W RMS (300 W max) and 4 ohm. They are built to be street loud and studio clear, with 98.3 dB efficiency (2.83 V / 1 m).
AudioControl's EPIC Pro speakers are pro-audio-style, high-efficiency drivers built for loud, far-projecting sound with low distortion at high volume. They are voiced to pair with AudioControl EPIC Series amplifiers and suit SQL and SPL builds where output matters.

Fitment: will it fit your car?
Measure the factory opening and the depth available behind it, including clearance to the window glass and its channel at full travel. The EPICPRO6CX needs 75.3 mm (2.96 in) of mounting depth and a 147 mm (5.78 in) cut-out. Spacers or adapter rings are often needed in many cars, and a solid, sealed baffle with door damping makes more difference to midbass than the speaker change alone.
Crossover, filtering and placement
The proaxial design puts a titanium bullet tweeter with a precision-designed horn in the centre of the midrange driver; use a high-pass filter on the amplifier to keep deep bass out of the driver.
Aim for a high-pass around 60 to 80 Hz if your head unit or amplifier allows it: removing deep bass lets the speakers play louder and cleaner, and a subwoofer can fill in below.
Amplification
At 200 W RMS (300 W max) and 4 ohm, one channel of AudioControl's EPICBIGFOUR (4 x 200 W at 4 ohm) is a direct match.

At the time of writing (October 2026), VA3 Car Studio lists the EPICPRO6CX at ₹22,940, 15% below the MRP of ₹26,990. Coaxials are the simplest speaker upgrade; budget a little extra for adapters and door damping, which often matter as much as the speakers. Prices can change, so the product page always shows the current price.
Verdict: who should shortlist the EPICPRO6CX
The EPICPRO6CX gives pro-audio output from a single 6.5-inch opening; it suits loud systems more than delicate, low-volume listening.
