Deaf Bonce ASA-2000.2 Review: 2,000 W x 2 and Strong 2-Ohm Power for Big Subs
Updated: Oct 6
The Deaf Bonce ASA-2000.2 is the larger of Deaf Bonce's two Apocalypse ASA two-channel amplifiers we sell: Class D, rated at 2,000 W RMS per channel into 1 ohm, 1,490 W into 2 ohm and 940 W into 4 ohm at 14.4 V, with 4,000 W available bridged into 2 ohm. At ₹94,990 MRP it is the most expensive Deaf Bonce multi-channel amplifier we sell, and the most powerful. It makes sense for big subwoofer systems with the electrical upgrades to match. See the current offer on our ASA-2000.2 product page.

Key points
It keeps 1,490 W per channel at 2 ohm, about three-quarters of its 1-ohm rating, so you don't have to run 1-ohm loads to get big power.
Bridged, it makes 4,000 W into 2 ohm or 2,980 W into 4 ohm, enough for one very large subwoofer.
Its 4,000 W total rating and 0 AWG power terminal make the electrical system a major part of the budget.
We found no owner reviews or independent tests when we checked in October 2026.

Why the 2-ohm figure matters more than the headline
The 2,000 W figure needs a 1-ohm load on each channel. The more useful number is 1,490 W at 2 ohm: doubling the load costs it only about a quarter of its output. Its smaller sibling, the ASA-1500.2, drops from 1,500 W to 890 W over the same step.
That matters because a 2-ohm load is generally easier on an amplifier and its wiring than 1 ohm, with less current through the output stage and speaker cables at a given power. Running two subs at 2 ohm each gets you almost the ASA-1500.2's 1-ohm output per channel. Bridging follows the same pattern: 2,980 W into 4 ohm is simply both channels' 2-ohm output combined.
Subwoofer pairings, from two 12s to one big 15
Two Apocalypse SA272 D1 subs, each rated at 1,500 W with dual 1-ohm coils, present 2 ohm with their coils in series. That puts 1,490 W into each, right at their rating. If you want the full 2,000 W per channel, two SA302 D2 subs (2,000 W RMS, dual 2-ohm) wired to 1 ohm match it exactly.
For a single sub, bridge into 4 ohm. The Apocalypse 3015R, a 15-inch rated at 2,800 W RMS with dual 2-ohm coils, presents 4 ohm with its coils in series and would see 2,980 W, close to its rating; the 12-inch 3012R has the same rating and coils. Two 15-inch SA255 D2 subs at 4 ohm each would get 940 W against a 1,000 W rating.
Midrange is not its job. Even four 4-ohm mids per channel would each see about 500 W at 1 ohm, beyond the 300 W rating of the most powerful Deaf Bonce mids we sell, so leave the front stage to a four-channel such as the MFA-4.320.
Feeding 4,000 watts: the electrical side
Two channels at 2,000 W make 4,000 W RMS, the highest total of any Deaf Bonce multi-channel amplifier we sell. Use 0 AWG copper for power and ground, as the terminal allows, do the Big 3, and budget for a high-output alternator and additional battery capacity. With no 12 V rating published, assume output will fall when voltage sags, as it can in a car idling with the AC on in Indian traffic.
The manual places the fuse holder within 40 cm of the battery's positive terminal and says to fit fuses only after the wiring has been checked. No fuse value is given, so size it to the cable. The operating range is 9–16 V.
What owners and reviewers say about the Deaf Bonce ASA-2000.2
When we checked in October 2026, there were no owner reviews or independent tests that we could find. The listing at alphardaudio.us, the website of the US dealer on Deaf Bonce's dealer list, had no customer reviews, and a Steve Meade Designs forum search returned Deaf Bonce subwoofer threads but nothing on this amplifier.
Alphard Group's own Russian store, alphardaudio.ru, offers promotional context rather than evidence. It presents the ASA two-channels as Korean-circuit Apocalypse Sport amplifiers, claims that such circuitry has been linked with stability and reliability since the early days of SPL in Russia, and says the same circuit design and components are used, with power supplies that have a large power reserve. Its page doesn't mention a remote, though the shared ASA manual lists one in the package. Owners, we'd welcome your feedback.
ASA-2000.2 vs ASA-1500.2 and the Atom 5.5K PRO
The ASA-1500.2 costs ₹20,000 less at MRP. At 1 ohm the gap is 500 W per channel; at 2 ohm it is 1,490 W against 890 W, and bridged into 4 ohm 2,980 W against 1,780 W. The ASA-2000.2 also lists 95 dB signal-to-noise against 91 dB. If your subs will run at 2 or 4 ohm, the bigger amplifier's advantage is much larger than the headline suggests.
For one subwoofer, the mono Atom 5.5K PRO (₹89,990 MRP) reaches 5,500 W at 1 ohm, but makes 2,850 W at 2 ohm and 1,710 W at 4 ohm, below the bridged ASA-2000.2 at both loads. A 1-ohm sub favours the Atom; a 2- or 4-ohm sub favours the ASA.
Who should buy it, and who shouldn't
Buy the ASA-2000.2 if you are building a serious two-sub system or driving one large sub bridged, you value strong output at 2 and 4 ohm, and your electrical upgrades are part of the budget.
Look elsewhere if you want to power speakers, plan to keep a stock alternator and battery, or your single sub is best wired to 1 ohm, where a mono does more for less.
Installation notes for Indian cars
The manual describes RCA inputs and lists no speaker-level input, so with a factory touchscreen head unit add a converter such as the Machete M6C or the M8-DSP. The 407 x 240 mm chassis needs a rigid mounting board and free air around it; a boot that bakes in summer is a poor place to bury it under trim. Watch the orange clip LED while setting gains, and keep the 0 AWG run as short as the car allows. VA3 Car Studio in Ghaziabad offers professional installation and can build a custom subwoofer box for the subs you pair with it.
Price and where to buy
The Deaf Bonce ASA-2000.2 carries an MRP of ₹94,990. VA3 Car Studio often sells below MRP, so check the latest price on our Apocalypse ASA-2000.2 product page. Every amplifier we sell is a genuine Deaf Bonce product.

The bottom line
The ASA-2000.2's strength is not the 2,000 W headline but how much it keeps at 2 and 4 ohm, which makes big power usable without 1-ohm wiring. It suits large, carefully powered subwoofer systems. With no owner reviews yet, judge it on the published figures and plan the electrics first.
Deaf Bonce ASA-2000.2 FAQ
Is the Deaf Bonce ASA-2000.2 better run at 1 ohm or 2 ohm?
It makes 2,000 W per channel at 1 ohm and 1,490 W at 2 ohm. The 2-ohm setting keeps about three-quarters of the power with a gentler load on the amplifier and wiring.
Can the ASA-2000.2 power a single 15-inch subwoofer?
Yes. Bridged into 4 ohm it makes 2,980 W, which suits a 15-inch such as the Apocalypse 3015R, rated at 2,800 W RMS, with its dual 2-ohm coils wired in series.
What does the ASA-2000.2 need from the electrical system?
It has a 0 AWG power terminal and a 4,000 W total rating at 1 ohm, so plan for 0 AWG wiring, the Big 3 upgrade and extra charging capacity. The manual puts the fuse within 40 cm of the battery but gives no fuse value.
